Collection SS10 is a correlation between functional clothing and shape-experiments.
The composition of this collection, as the previous, is dual, and apart from the functional basic wear, the fundamental idea in this concept is A): to create clothes with multiple applications and B): to recycle existing designs in new interpretations.
Multi-functional clothes and recycling are the two main ingredients in the construction of SS10. We seek to broaden the usability of each item, thus promoting the sustainability.
SS10 is 70% sustainable design.
Barbara Ì Gongini is a part of “Next Generation Bright Green Fashion”.
The purpose is to cooperate in a creative forum with 4 other designers from Denmark and Berlin, to discover ways of implementing sustainable designs into existing and future collections. The ultimate goal is 100% sustainable products.

The collection has a wide scope within the three segments Regular, Irregular, and Pieces;
Regular is the basic, timeless and conceptual series, directed at both segments.
Irregular and Pieces include moderate as well as ultra-feminine preludes, with great shape-diversities placed in the latter part of the category.
Style-wise the collection is kept within Nordic stringency and the opposition of contrasts.
The palette moves through the colour scale from light to dark and is kept in black, white, grey, sand and blue.
